Scattered throughout a couple of coastal cities, 25 random lady's swimsuits have been enchanted to transform their wearers into mermaids. These swimsuits can come in every style from modest, one-piece bathing suits, to two-piece string bikinis. They could be any colors with a variety of designs and patterns on them which will be retained throughout the tail when it forms as the suit material engulfs your legs and molds them into a mermaid tail. The rules about the suits are as follows...
1) Suits are one size fits all; from little girls, to plus-sized women.
- The resulting mermaid will be fit and trim, though (maybe a tad thicc).
2) Transformation is triggered by either becoming at least 50% submerged in water, or by breathing in enough water to be life-threatening to a human.
- The first transformation is drawn out as your body must adapt to the change and your new form.
- Once you have transformed for the first time, the swimsuit becomes a permanent part of your body; essentially becoming your skin.
- in cases of two-piece suits, they both must be worn to trigger the change
3) Wearers will be able to revert to human form when out of the water; but other changes caused by the transformation will be permanent.
- Men who wear the suits and transform will become women.
- Older people who wear the suits will revert to their 20s when they transform.
- Younger people will age up to teenagers when they transform.
- Whatever orientation the wearer has prior to transforming in the suit, regardless of starting gender, they'll eventually wind up a lesbian.
- Sexual contact, in or out of mermaid form, will hasten the process of becoming lesbian
- Orgasming in mermaid form runs the risk of making the mermaid transformation permanent.
Mermaid Biology:
1) Mermaids are all female (which is why men will become female)
2) They have no gills, but rather, modified lungs capable of breathing air and water.

4) They have enhances singing voices that may or may not have effects on people.
Rumors:
1) Mermaids have magical powers; and can enchant other women's swimsuits into transforming them.
2) They can mate with each other using clitorises that grow into sex organs not unlike a dolphin phallus.
3) Certain special swimsuits will turn someone into a royal mermaid with even greater powers.
4) There may be one or two men's suits given the enchantment; but they'll still make a woman out of them.
