Her mind was delving deep into what her life would be like staying this way. Her life being with someone that she didn't even know, nor did she think was cute or handsome at all. Her life with all these trophies that she didn't rightfully own, nor earned. Her life with the knowledge of all these shows that she had no interest in. I mean, what was half of these anime shows all about? And these strange Japanese games that lay on her shelves, with the dust polished off them like they were as good as the trophies.
Maybe Dexter was nice? She couldn't really picture if she knew a Dexter beforehand, before all these insanity happened. She tried to focus her mind on whoever this Dexter was. Oh, now she knew. That skinny kid in Maths during high-school that would answer the questions before the teacher would even finish it? That geek? Oh god, no wonder Nerd Jamie would like him, with his smarty-pants demeanor and his intellect... and his cute glasses... and his adorable snuggles... and his really adorable laugh...
Jamie's nerdy side was starting to flow through her mind slowly. As she thought about Jamie, she giggled and snorted with laughter, letting the nerd side grow out her teeth to bucked proportions.
"*snort* Heh. Thuch a cutie..." she dreamily murmured.
Jamie continued thinking about the life that she had here. She finally got her dream, a place in Harvard. Harvard, of all places! She could have never had that if she stuck to what she was doing in her life before. And all those trophies don't lie, she was an incredible competitor for things like Chess and Science Fairs. She only won third in track twice for trophies, but this new side to her was incredibly intelligent and... she has something now that she really didn't have before. A boyfriend. Not only that, a really supportive boyfriend. She... never had that. And now... she did.
"*snort* He'th tho dreamy"
To her, she looked like a marshmallow with a pizza for a face, but that didn't matter to Dexter. In fact, he was more accepting of her than she ever was. Everything from her weight, height, overall body shape, it didn't matter to him. He loved her. Maybe it was best that she was like this. I mean, she was this, but she knew that she was holding herself back from becoming this.
Why was she?
She was actually happy here.
Why was she keeping herself from this?
"It'th not me! Thith ith not me!"
She grabs the hammer again, holding it up close to the mirror before lifting it above her head, like she was giving it a warning.
"THOP THITH! I am not thith Jamie. I am not a nerd! I want to be me again! I didn't earn thith! LET ME BE ME AGAIN!"
The mirror changed the reflection again. Jamie shook as she saw herself in the mirror. The outlook of the room changed in the reflection, and she did too. Annoyingly, she was still the nerd, the big nerd that she really didn't like to be... but there was something else about her... something added on to the nerd side...
