The woman brings Jacob into the changing room. She instructs Kimmie to wait outside. The girl does so happily, again pointing out the status of Jacob’s diaper. Jacob’s mind races as he is brought into the changing room. Does she actually believe he’s her son? Or is she going to kidnap him? Something else, but no less sinister?
“I know you’re not my son,” the woman says, laying Jacob on a baby changing station. “I don’t have a son, and I don’t want one.” That calms some of Jacob’s unease. “I was the one to help you with this.” Jacob frowns at her. Yes, she’s helping him, she’s changing his diaper.
“No, not with the diaper.” The woman removes said diaper and tosses it in a nearby trash can. “I granted your wish to have your swimsuit fit more loosely.” Jacob’s eyes widen.
“How?” he squeaks.
“I’m a witch.” To prove her point, baby wipes and a fresh swim diaper magically appear in the woman’s hands.
“No want this,” Jacob whines. He winces at how the cold wipes feel as she cleans him off. “No want be baby.”
“You’re not a baby. You’re a toddler.” The woman puts the swim diaper on. She snaps her fingers. A pair of toddler swim trunks appear on Jacob. “But anyways, I’m a witch, sweetie. Do you really think I care about what people want?”
“Turn me big,” Jacob insists. The woman looks at him thoughtfully. After a moment, she snaps her fingers, making Jacob…
