Jacob muses over his options for a few moments, eventually deciding to get dressed, then go to the lobby to find Seth. He’ll attract attention as an unattended toddler, but even more if he’s naked. Jacob walks around the changing room, looking for something to wear. Unfortunately, the only thing he can find is a diaper bag containing clothes clearly meant for a girl.
Well, toddlers sometimes wander around just in a diaper, so Jacob takes the diaper out of the bag. The diaper is pink, but it’s still better than wearing the dress in the bag. Someone opens the door to the changing room, letting in a gust of cold air from the hallway. Jacob shivers. He forgot how cold the hall is.
After weighing his options again, Jacob reluctantly removes the toddler dress from the bag. He can’t possibly imagine going out in the cold hall in just a diaper. Anyways, it’s only temporary. Jacob pulls the ruffled white sundress over his head. He thinks for another couple seconds, then puts on the matching sandals. The floor is just as cold as the air, after all.
On his way out of the changing room, Jacob catches a glimpse of his reflection. He curses softly. Toddlers are androgynous, and Jacob is no exception. In girly clothes, he looks like a girl. He shakes away this discovery and heads into the hall.
Even in the dress and sandals, Jacob is freezing. There’s no way he would have gotten to the lobby in just a diaper, let alone naked. He rubs his arms and toddles his way down the hall. Thankfully, no one is in the hall, and he arrives at the lobby without being spotted.
