So perhaps going against the words of the goddess’s chosen did end up with a punishment – but getting turned into jewelry and placed on her younger sister for prom was not what anyone could have imagined as that being it. Though, considering what power Taylor holds, this was not the worst punishment to have.
Ivy was an earring and she felt what she assumes to be sleep paralysis if her body became inanimate. And if the body turned cold and was bare to the whole world. While she could ‘focus’ her vision on something specific, she had a 360 view, which would have given her headaches if she were human, and somehow able to ‘view’ from anywhere of her body. Just weird.
She can only imagine what the hair piece forms of Linda, Paulette and Betty were feeling. Probably kind of itchy, Ivy guesses as she tries to see something interesting to look at, and maybe even the same feeling as getting hair in their eyes or would they be fine since they’re supposed to be put in hair…if only Ivy could shrug as the thoughts pass by.
She wasn’t too far off on the trio atop of Darla’s head. To the parts holdings onto the hair, it felt like a barely there barrier was in place between them and the hair – so, you felt the hair, but it wasn’t too irritable.
After all, Taylor didn’t want to hurt them, just teach them a lesson, so discomfort and some disorientation will be the worst they suffer.
What Clarice decides to do with them is another situation entirely. Something about working on the stable, but Taylor didn’t care to clarify at the moment, as she had a sister to help prep for a prom, twisting the final hair piece in place in that extravagant braid that Darla really wanted.
“All set! Now you really look like a princess! Tony will have to fight to keep you away from all the others!” Darla blushed at that, her heart fluttering at the idea of Tony, in a suit, with her…
“Now go get ‘em, tiger!” Taylor gave a thumbs up and out the door Darla went.
This was going to be a night to remember…
