As god pondered what to do one of his other creations, the wolf, made it’s way over to him. Like all things the creature was dosile, but he knew one day it’s fangs would be put to good use. He pat it’s head foreseeing all the branching paths the animals decendence would take. Then an idea struck him. What gave humans the right to dominate others? Just because they had hands? At the end all creatures were equal below him. Maybe he should show that.
With a wave of his hand the wolves body changed. It’s torso grew longer, the front paws changing into digits with rough black pads. The back legs lengthened but still reversed mid way down, the paws growing larger. Soon the wolf’s body was the same shape as the sleeping Adam, though with the addition of fur, tail, and muzzle. The wolf let out a yawn and scratched behind its ear with it’s leg still preferring to walk on all fours. God smiled to himself, satisfied with the results.
He then moved through the garden changing every beast, bird and fish into the shape of Adam or the still yet to be Eve. The creatures intelligence he left unaltered for now. Over time they would develop tools and clothes. Or they wouldn’t and just remain here in the guarden naked for all eternity.
Either way that still left Adam. The only human. What to do...
