Megan bit her lip. What she had read on the help screens fired up her imagination and she was extremely tempted to try this thing out. She thought, "Why did Will come home early?" and she desired more time to test the Chronivac out. "It can't possibly work," she told herself.
She could hear Will walking through the main hall and towards the den. She had to do something quickly or wait till tomorrow to test it. She got frantic and hit the search button on the screen. Something she had contemplated years ago was being invisible and she typed it in. The computer screen displayed "Invisibility Wizard" in addition to other options. Thinking it was like other "Wizards" on the computer, Megan clicked on it.
The screen gave her her first option, body completely transparent or semi-visible. She wanted to be completely invisible. Will's foot prints were getting louder. The next screen asked if the transformee should be insubstancial. Megan was not about to lack substance, especially if she wanted to hit her keyboard again. She selected no. Will opened the door to the den and Megan knew she had only a few seconds. She quickly skipped through the two remaining questions and hit the accept button.
Megan looked at the emitter and noticed it gave off a blue glow. She turned towards the den as she could hear Will step from the carpet onto the hardwood floor. She felt coolness descend through her and she gasped as she tingled throughout her body. Her focus was towards the den when the sensation stopped.
