"Ms. Yuriko would you mind if I went to check on someone," Darren asked.
"I think everything will be fine," Yuriko grinned. "What do you think Steph?"
An impish grin now crossed the maid droids face as she lifted Lynne up. The small child gasping, her adult pants and shoes falling away as she was placed on the couch. "I think we're going to have a very pleasant afternoon," Steph said happily, taking Lynne's tiny feet in her robotic hand as she tickled them with her feather.
Lynne squealed with childish laughter as the maid bot tickled her tiny bare feet. "No tickles, no tickles," Lynne laughed. Steph stopped momentarily as the young girl now caught her breath. "Well this is going to be entertaining to say the least," she sighed.
"Oh at the very least," Yuriko chuckled. "Dont worry Darre. Everything will be okay. You enjoy yourself." Darren nodded, leaving the two regressed wizards with Steph.
Darren now sent a text message to Bob, apologizing and asking him if he wanted to get together. Bob, of course accepted, saying he would meet Darren near the park.
As Darren now made his way to meet Bob, he tried to recall as much information as possible on his next door neighbor. Bob was actually quite popular, a handsome, laid back guy with shaggy, well managed blond hair and piercing green eyes. Bob also had the reputation of being not only quite athletic but a bit of a ladies man as well. Much to Darren's chagrin, Bob would try to get Darren to go out with various girls around school. As Darren now approached the park he could see his friend lounging on a bench.
"Yo Darren," he called. "Good to see you."
"Good to see you too Bob," Darren said. "Sorry, been super busy lately didnt mean to ignore you."
"Its cool man," Bob said, a relaxed grin on his face. "Figured you've been busy. You know with how you and Hannah been butting heads."
"Yeah something like that," Darren grumbled.
"Girls man," Bob shrugged. "Cause of and solution to all of a guys problems. Still never thought I'd see you too fighting. I mean you guys act like a married couple."
"Shes not my girlfriend," Darren said quickly.
"Sure man whatever you say," Bob said flippantly. "Look shes going through a fad right now. It'll pass."
Darren shrugged, he hoped that was all it was, he wasnt exactly thrilled with Robo Hannah. "So what's new," Darren asked.
"Well," Bob stated, taking a deep breath. "Wanted to tell you something, you know since you missed the dance. Kind of a big deal."
"What is it?"
Bob blushed, his shoulders slumping as he now sheepishly turned towards his friend. I, um, kinda kissed Crystal at the dance."
Darren's jaw dropped as he gaped at his friend. "Saeriously!"
"Yeah man it just happened," Bob said meekly, causing Darren to groan. "Duse man look I'm sorry. She was just standing by herself looking sad. I went to talk with her we started talking, next thing I know *poof* she kissed me."
Darren sighed, punching the bridge of his nose. "Dude I wont date her if you say no," Bob said quickly. "Your my friend man. I dont want to backstab you like that."
"No Bob its cool," Darren said. Taking a deep breath, he now turned giving his friend a warm smile. "Congrats man I'm happy for you."
"Really," Bob exclaimed in surprise.
"Yeah man I am," Darren said happily. "I mean you two make a good couple. I'm happy for you."
"Thanks man I appreciate that," Bob said happily. "Now we gotta find you a girlfriend."
Darren shook his head, a short laugh escaping his lips.
"What about calling Hannah," Bob asked.
"Definitely not," Darren grumbled. For now he would steer clear of Hannah. For now he would focus on his new friend and magic. If Hannah wanted to stay a droid, he wouldnt stop her but that didnt mean he needed to around her either.
