Leah very quickly stopped acting like a toddler, once she found out that she wouldn’t actually be treated like one at daycare. If Tina’s daycare wouldn’t treat her the way she wanted to be treated, then another one would.
Tina didn’t question Leah’s quick turn-around in behavior. She just assumed Leah was having a difficult couple of days.
After Leah spent a week at daycare, being treated like a teenager but dressed like a toddler, Tina decided that it was time to put Leah back in high school. Leah pretended to be glad about it, but secretly hid away plenty of diapers and toddler clothes for her plan.
On Monday, Tina dropped Leah off at the high school. Leah waved goodbye, then, once Tina had pulled away, quickly ducked behind a bush to change into her toddler outfit. She taped on a thick diaper and pulled on a short dress that her diaper peeked out under. Proud of herself, she strolled over to the building next door, Happy Times Daycare.
It had been surprisingly easy to pull herself out of high school and instead enroll herself into a daycare. Everything was done online now, so Leah didn’t even have to pretend to be Tina on a phone call.
Checking in was also surprisingly easy. The daycare worker didn’t question that Leah was unaccompanied by an adult. She was given a nametag and ushered into a playroom, filled with toddlers who wore diapers just like her. As Leah toddled over to play with her new peers, she heard the daycare worker who checked her in say something to another one.
“She looks a bit big for diapers. Keep an eye on her, her parents might put her in them even though she can use pull-ups.” Leah grinned. Immediately, she dropped into a squat and began to push, grunting loudly. In a short matter, her diaper was thoroughly filled with poop. “…Never mind.”
Leah’s first week at daycare was fantastic. She loved being a toddler. Taking naps, having snacks, even using a diaper and getting changed. However, the honeymoon ended when, the Tuesday of her second week, there was an unexpected visitor at her daycare.
