"You had your turn before," Tom said. "I'll go next." He rolled ten and drew a card.
Dave wanted to go again,
And he would have rolled that ten.
In his mind perhaps that burns,
So why don't you and he share turns?
Dave and Tom suddenly slammed together, as if they had been magnetically attracted to each other. "Ow! What the hell was that?" Dave cried.
"I don't know, but it sure hurts!" Tom complained. He heard a tearing of clothing and Sue's dog head whine as she pointed to their midsections.
Looking down, Tom saw the side of his body beginning to fuse to Dave's. The joining skin tore open both their shirts as it progressed up their sides. In panic, Dave tried to push away from Tom, but it only served to intensify the pain. Dave's right and Tom's left arm began to merge as well. Both arms were finally absorbed into their sides, which were now completely joined from the shoulder to the waist. They looked at each other in disbelief, their tattered shirts hanging partly across their unified chests.
"Happy now?" Tom finally said. "If you hadn't forgotten that you went first--"
"Hey, shut up. I don't like this any more than you do." Dave turned to Terry. "Take your turn and let's get on with this!"
