Carla Maxwell is a stressed out mom living in suburban Ohio. She lives with her 9 year old son Seth Maxwell. She is really stressed out due to her high stress actuarial job and her stressful child Seth. She has been an actuary since she was 19 due to graduating college early in life. She is now 32 years old. She is a senior level employee and gets paid very well. Her company recently moved her to remote working as a cost saving measure. Seth is a huge asshole and he is out of control since he was 3. He would constantly cause trouble and get into fights getting expelled from multiple schools and was lazy and the school system would give up on him. Carla wished she could disown him but she made a promise to her dead husband Luke that she would try to fix Seth until he was 18. Seth only caused trouble at home and virtually all the local sitters would not come near the house due to Seth despite Carla willing to pay 3x the going rate. Seth also terrorized the local children and Carla's friends kids so she was out of touch with a lot of parents. No therapist could fix Seth. She was stuck with Seth.
