Greg and Jacob looked in Jacob’s hand, seeing the 25 cents landing on its side that everyone labeled tails. Greg performed a small victory dance that involved in him oddly shuffling around as he sang, “Baby time! Baby time! I won so it’s baby time!”
“Fine! I guess we are going to be babies for a while! Hurry up and choose before someone we know enters the store!” Jacob ordered.
Greg searched all of the aisles that were labeled between the ages of one to four, unsure how to decide what age to be.
“Dude just pick one and let’s go!” Jacob requested.
“Help me pick. It’s hard when each age has their own thing!” Greg said. He pointed to the aisle of one year olds, “Look, one year olds have it great. We just sit around and crawl while we are fed, diapered, and waited hand and foot by my parents. The only problem is that it’s very limiting on what we could do.”
He walked over to the aisle for two year olds, “Being two is great. We can walk, talk, and even poop our pants all at once. If we ask, my mom will probably bottle feed us as she rocks us to sleep. Our only problem is that we’d have to stay quiet if we’d wish to act like babies since we don’t know the language.”
Stepping into the three year old aisle, Greg said, “And while being three is the same, they expect us to do a lot on our own. That includes potty training. I’d hate to be naked in front of my parents for longer than needed.”
Finally, he showed the aisle for four year olds, “It’s worse than being three since we are expected to be ready for school and everything. I’d be diapered at night, but you’ll probably be diapered 24/7.”
“Well I’ve heard your explanations, so just pick one!” Jacob said.
