Ollie's heart soared as high as his body did. The young bird boy could scarcely believe that he was able to fly. His body felt young strong and fast, and he felt more free than he ever felt as a human. "Maybe I can do this more often!" He tweeted to himself. Of course, he couldn't be this all the time, being a normal bird maybe, but there could be a risk with that too. "Guess I should head back ... " he said, feeling glum. He turned around and as he headed back, he suddenly realized someone was down below. His heart skipped a beat as he saw a little girl, hardly older than he'd been when he became a kid again, watching him from a nearby window right next door to his house.
"Shit." He thought. His neighbor had seen him! What was worse, her window looked out over his, so to get back inside, she'd probably see him. Had she seen him leave? he wasnt sure.
The moment he saw her, and she seemed to realize it, she waved, beaming from the window. Ollie wasn't sure what to do. He couldn't hide the fact she'd seen him right now. He could think of only one solution. Tucking his wings he dipped down and landed on the balcony right outside her room.
