The bathroom door opened and to Todd's astonishment, out came a small fix girl. Dressed in a girls scouting uniform, she has bright red and white fur - evidently the same species as Todd, and atop her head rested long locks of shining auburn hair, a shade darker than her pelt giving her head hair a distinct contrast with her fur. She was slightly shorter than Todd, though not by much and upon seeing him her demeanor tightened, clearly a shock of anger and embarrassment shooting through her.
"What did you do this time Todd!" she pouted, stomping a foot much like the child she now was. An unbidden tear ran down her cheak, melting into the fur.
"I diddnt do nothing Cindy" Todd replied, anger flaring.
They both paused.
"...Cindy?" she replied. The name hit her in a weird way. While foreign, her brain seemed to treat it as normal, as....her. She was Cindy now, cindy the vixen. "I'm George! Not some stupid vixen named Cindy!"
"Cind---George I mean....Ya do LOOK like a fox girl though..." replied Todd, shivering at the sound of his high pitched voice. Oddly, a part of his brain he didn't know he had told him she was younger than him, a 8 year old vixen. An odd sense of pride filled him and caused his tail to wag in contentment knowing at 10, he was the older of the two.
"We-We gotta figure something out, I can't go back to work as a little fox girl, the grown-ups there will be so mean!" She replied, her language expressing slight notes of childishness.
Todd didn't know what to say. He was the older of the two, of course, more mature, and it was his responsibility to figure out what to do. Looking down, he examined his body. His tail flicked around his body, putting it into view, its bushy heft both alien yet familiar. It felt odd to be so short, so close to the ground , yet he couldn't help but enjoy the energy he felt in this form and the release from the many aches and pains he'd acquired over the years. While it was weird, being a Critter Kid simply felt awesome.
"Cummon cind, we lets go find some help...maybe Alex will know what to do, he's older after all..." Said Todd, the name Alex conjuring a fit young badger man rather the human they'd met yesterday.
"K" she replied "I jus don't wanna leave her looking like a girl. Girls are gross! I wanna be a boy! I had to pee sitting down this morning, and down below.....I got nothing! This is so weird!"
"Boys ARE better" Todd replied with a confident grin "I wouldn't wanna be a girl...even if you gave me a WHOLE bag of candy! Yuck!"
"Hey! Its not THAT bad...I jus...I jus want my old body back! An I don wanna be a fox!" Cindy replied.
"Wanna go find Alex, or do you need some more time to settle into being a fox girl? "
