Jack and Soren got to the showers while three other counselors were taking their morning showers. Jack found it easy enough to place names to all of them. Heath was the hedgehog, he was a little on the pudgy side but was also so happy and jovial that most of the counselors and staff liked having him around, and somehow was dating one of the hottest girls at the camp, a cat named Val. Then there was Vince, a rhino who easily was in competition with Soren for the biggest guy at camp. The two actually played football together so Soren gave him an up nod when they entered.
The last counselor who was just finishing up his shower was also the oldest, but that's because he was the badger in charge. Alex nodded to Jack and Soren on his way past. Jack clucked his tongue in annoyance. One of the rumors was the badger was packing, and he had just missed his best chance to see it.
As Jack and Soren stripped down, Jack kept sneaking glances at his ursine companion. Jackie was half dating Jared because he was such a beast height and build wise, and Soren had him beat in both categories. For some reason he thought a bear would have a bit of a gut, but Soren was almost bodybuilder cut. Obviously, turning from a human woman into a male opossum hadn't changed his sexual preferences any.
He knew Sarah, or at least felt he did, those memories were hard to pick up, but somehow he felt he didn't really know Soren. Like they had been partnered up for this weekend and were almost total strangers before. So Jack began idly wondering what Soren's tastes leaned to.
Sliding under the shower, he tried to see if Soren was catching glances at anyone, but the bear just seemed to be enjoying his shower and lathering up, and soon Jack had to focus on doing the same.
He shouldn't be thinking of screwing Soren, he was dating Jared.. he loved Jared, but.. where was Jared? Jack couldn't even summon up a proper mental image of his boyfriend. The warm water running through his fur really was quite soothing and Jack just stood under the water for a moment enjoying it washing over him.
As Soren stepped away from the shower Jack followed suit with a regretful sigh. After drying off the two headed back to the cabin for a quick change into their uniforms.
'I could always just ask him,' Jack thought as he eyed Soren's bare ass for a moment as he changed. He looked away quickly when the bear looked back over to him, focusing in the mirror as he tied his scarf off. Worst case Jack would get rebuffed and then it would be mildly awkward for the rest of the weekend. Maybe Vince would know his teammate's tastes. Must have come up in the locker room, but that would certainly get back to Soren.
Hell, wanting to fuck guys was so much easier as a woman. He stepped out of the cabin, mildly distracted by his inner thoughts on Soren's sexuality that he didn't notice one of the campers come running up to him and his partner. "Mister Soren! Mister Jack!"
Jack winced. He hated being called mister. "Soren's fine." The bear answered before Jack got the chance. "Josh, right?" Jack eyes the young buck up and down, he had little nubs on his head where antlers would one day be, but at the moment those were probably all the poor kid could grow.
"Yes sir. I thought you should know. Some of my cabin mates snuck off to spy on the girls' showers." Josh was smirking a little as he tattled on his fellow campers, Jack found himself instantly disliking the kid.
Soren just sighed. "I guess we better go wrangle them. If Val catches boys spying on her girls she'll skin them and hang 'em by their toes." He motioned Josh to go rejoin his cabin mates. "You're coming, too, Jack."
Jack sighed dramatically but fell in line. "I never understood the appeal of staring at girls in the shower." He muttered.
"Me neither." Soren said with a shake of his head. Jack perked up though. Confirmation? Maybe..
