Since Marshall decided to spend the night in the nursery, he thought it would be better to at least make the most of it and sleep on the crib. He waddled his padded butt until he reached the side of the crib which, thankfully, was open and it was just a matter of climbing the guard rail.
It was easier said than done though, after all, his body was weaker and his coordination slower, which meant he just had to slowly make his way upward even though he found himself grunting a couple times with his high voice, reminding him of the new gender he now was.
Soon enough, he finally reached the mattress, which had a few blankets that he could use. All the effort he made to change himself, walk and climb left him exhausted. And just when he decided to simply fall asleep were interrupted by a sudden thunder which send a chill down his back. This filled his tiny body of fear and the only thing that prevented him from crying was his thumb, which he sucked to remain relatively calm.
It was then that he decided to cover himself with the blankets... just in case, or so he thought. As time passed, they began to give him the warmness his little body needed, he found himself growing sleepier and more tired... and with the finger in his mouth, he fell asleep.
The next morning...
