Opening the door, Jayden walks in and shines his torchlight across the empty room. The sight which meets with is very different than the rest of the school. While so far most of the building has had a typical ‘western’ design, this room seems straight out of an anime.
The design of the room appears to be a traditional Japanese one, with oriental patterns dotting the walls and dividers. Along with the basic design, the room with filled with various items which are unmistakably Japanese. Posters of various Anime’s which Jayden has never watched dot the walls, their titles written in bold Japanese writing with no English translation to be found.
A half open closet reveals an assortment of Japanese dresses, causes wear, kimonos, and even a Japanese style girls school uniform. The closet itself seems oddly alluring for some reason, causing Jayden to blush as a dizzy feeling once gain fills his head.
Looking away, he spots a small book shelf decked with various manga, foreign novels and even school textbooks, all written completely in Japanese.
Other than that, the remainder of the room is fairly normal, with a bed along with a desk containing a laptop and a few other office supplies and books.
Suddenly the door slams shuts behind him. Spinning back around, he tries to get it back open but it remains wedged shut,
“What’s with the damn doors in this place? No wonder they abandoned this school...” he mutters bitterly as he walks over to try the window. He tries to pull it open only for an electric shock to hit his fingers as he fiddled with the locks, sending him flying across the room in a dizzy spiral before collapsing on the bed.
Suddenly the lights begins flickering as Jayden almost thinks he saw a spectral figure floating in front of him between each flicker of light, before another onset of dizziness loses him that train of thought. Within moments the room is engulfed with sudden light which briefly blinds Jayden as his eyes adjust to the new light.
“Huh, guess they forgot to take the batteries out or something...” he reasons with shaky breath as he looks over the room. Now that he gets a better and clearer look at it, he notes that it’s oddly well preserved for a abandoned building.
After a few minutes he reluctantly decides to send a text for help. He quickly types up a brief and vague overview of his situation and asks Adam and the others to come get in, he knows he’ll probably never hear the end of this but he prefers not waiting until the cops show up about the odd lights and disturbances coming from the old abandoned school.
With his dizziness th resting to escalate to a full blown headache, Jayden keeps his text quick. With his lack of focus, he doesn’t notice that the language of the text on his phone has changed from English to Japanese.
He puts his phone away before he can notice the language swap and then begins thinking of what to do in the meantime.
“Well this room at least has some interesting-“ he coughs as his voice raises a few pitches “-stuff in it. Maybe I could check out those manga.., or maybe those cute outfits... wait what?” He rubs his hair, which seems some what less shaggy than before. Speaking of, his skin also seems smoother, although he writes off that latter detail as a trick of the lighting.
Snaking off these odd thoughts, Jayden decided what to do.
