Still shaking the effects of the drugs off, Emily was unaware that she was being varied out of the vet's office by Brutus until she was situated in his car. Formerly her car. "Glad you're alright girl." He said as he patted her on the head after getting into the driver seat.

As she looked at her new 'hands' and feet, she stared in awe at the world around them as Brutus drove through town.
She recognized a few of the humans being walked, there was her former boss, now happily peeing on a fire hydrant as his female corgi owner texted on her phone. There was her friend Alice, who looked like a stray, and was digging food out from behind a dumpster, and so many others she realized also were in her predicament, but either completely under control of their dog-human minds, or otherwise believing this was all normal.
