If Jane had expected either of them to go for it, she would've assumed Kate to be the one who dove right in, taking her opportunity to become some kind of souped-up living jet fighter. Contary to that expectation, however, Kate was hesitant, only slowly reaching out - and in that time, Park took advantage of the delay. The colonel rushed forward and swiped up the tags like they were a grenade with a pin pulled, quickly stringing them on and muttering something Jane couldn't quite make out.
Whatever they'd said, it was clearly some kind of wish not too different from her own. The tags put out a soft golden glow for a moment, before Park suddenly stepped over and leaned against a chair, looking a bit disoriented. Hetzer stared on in barely-contined glee as Kate leaned against Jane, curious to watch the whole process unfold, to get an idea of what it'd be like if she went ahead with being turned into a machine like the other lieutenant. Jane, for her part, got a funny feeling that something was... off.
Because the colonel was certainly changing, but they weren't gaining any metallic features, nor growing any weapons or electronics. No, instead Park seemed to slim down, both in body and facial structure, their uniform shrinking down tight against their body with them. It was taking on an almost... feminine shape.
Things started to click in her head as she watched the now-slender colonel start to fill out. The curves that her hips and chest began to gain - notable, but not tasteless - caused Hetzer to furrow her brow in confusion. Not that she was looking away, of course, as the wrinkles in Park's face smoothed out. In a matter of seconds, she looked about twenty-five years younger; the smooth skin and defined muscle visible with her rolled-up sleeves hinting at the colonel having reverted to her physical prime.
She tossed off her hat, undoing the bun that her dark hair had been tied into so that the long, flowing mane could fall freely. There was even a little giggle from the de-aged woman as she whipped her head back and forth a few times, adoring the way her long hair flew around. There was one final bite of her ruby red lips as her knees bent inwards, a hand running down over a groin that had just become a hell of a lot less bulging. It seemed to be the last change to occur, and with that, Park sighed and removed the tags, tossing them back onto the table before flopping back down into her seat with a contented sigh.
"Oh my god, finally."
The gender-swapped colonel's joy caused Kate to come to a bit of a realization. "Si- ma'am, are you - I mean, were you...?"
"Since I was a teenager," she nodded, running a hand through her hair with a pleased smile. "I was getting ready for the long process of transitioning after retirement, but that was so much faster and cheaper... and nicer... mmmmm..." She couldn't help but run her hands over her new curves, relishing in finally owning the body she had desired for so many long, miserable years of keeping her true self hidden. Jane and Kate shared a look of appreciation - aside from the fact that Park was nothing less than smoking hot now, there was a certain giddiness in seeing their long-suffering yet constantly reliable CO finally be herself.
Hetzer was far less amused. "Colonel Park, this artifact is an irreplacable piece of vital Air Force property, not a trinket for you to play out your sexual whims. When we're done here, we need to have words about this violation of professionalism." Notably, she wasn't telling Park to change herself back... and her eyes were lingering on the colonel's impressive bust before she finally looked back up at Kate. "What about you, lieutenant?"
The greatly-intrigued woman leaned forward and picked up the tags, rubbing her chin. "Huh... so I guess... these things could turn you into anything, huh? Not just plan people?"
Hetzer sighed. "I suppose so, but if you insist on transforming yourself into something, please make it something with a practical value for the Air Force."
"Park's tits have a lot of practical value."
"Lieutenant."
"No no," Park interjected, "She's got a point."
