Jack had spent the last year and a half in complete isolation, in an old, abandoned house with just his laptop as his only connection with the outside world.
Jack’s life had changed half a year ago when a company supposedly supported by the government had contacted him to help them to design a program that could locate and eliminate any type of intrusion in the computers of the National Defense System.
He had spent the next months working without any problems and the pay was good. It had not been until later when he had discovered the truth behind his job: the program that he had helped to create wasn't designed to stop instrusions. At the contrary, it helped to open a big hole in the national defense system. He had just run away the moment he discovered the truth. Jack didn't knew if those people had achieved their goal or had been arrested by the goverment, but he didn't feel like finding out.
He had spent the last half year living in the middle of nowhere. Waiting for the men in black to knock at his door and send him to . Maybe one of his former colleagues would come and shoot him in the forehead so he wouldn't speak with anybody.
A hit against wooden startled the nervous guy, out of his seat. Someone was knocking at his door.
