About forty five minutes before this haunting encounter, a team of six people stand in the ground floor of the ornate manor. One of them, an attractive young-ish black man, too enthusiastic by far because he's on camera, uses his TV announcer voice to talk to a woman with a camera. "Hey Scarebears, welcome to another episode of Haunted Havens! I'm your host Joel 'Sleve' McDichael! We're here at the mysterious mansion of fashion mogul and notable occult enthusiast Morgan Harborview, the most haunted place in..." he pauses "Line?" frowning.
"We'll edit it in post" The director, a no nonsense looking older man shakes his head, looking at him like he's an idiot but not willing to do another take.
Joel nods, "Take it from the top?" before getting a shake and moving to continue with the script. Gesturing to the ornate foyer he's in, the camerawoman panning without difficulty he continues with his TV presenter voice "We've got everything here. A triple murder in the 70's, Harborview's suicide a decade later, a messy fight over the heirs with not one, not two, not three, but *FOUR* mysterious disappearances, and, of course, all the missing persons that have shown up as being around the manor right before they vanished. And this isn't an old timey thing either, the last guy vanished only *3!* years ago!" his tone rising in excitement and anticipation.
He gestures out to the manor as a whole again, "but that's not the most crazy thing. We've got some footage of some *really* crazy things." He pauses for effect. "Back in the 1990's, three college kids on a dare filmed themselves going into the guest house as a dare. Something simple, right? Only one guy had vanished, and that was back in 1987. Haunted, spooky, abandoned, but just a house." He stops again, pausing. "Or so they thought!" Loud, surprising, perfect delivery. He leans in and gives a conspiratorial grin and a wink. "I have to warn you, these images aren't meant for young children and may be disturbing."
The director nods. "And cut" calling out. "That was perfect Joel, and great shooting Karen! We'll splice in that student film rabbit footage and we'll go to a commercial!" Grinning at the host who gives a thumbsup back.
"We good for now? I've got a few calls I want to make." Joel moving to check his phone.
The Director, Greg, nods. "Yeah, everyone take five. Then we'll have you and Karen do some reaction shots. I'll go with Luke, Sam, Tom to get some stock footage of the place." the older man grabbing a rig with a head mounted go-pro and a flashlight, the three 'assistants', two men and a woman, grabbing similar items. "Don't get lost or split up," nodding at the woman who comes to join him, "this place is a maze. Meet back here in an hour." The director and woman, Sam, going off to the guesthouse while Tom and Luke begin to explore the manor proper.
And that was a forty five minutes ago. Now one of the number, Greg the Director, has become a Bunnygirl and another has been marked for the same with a third currently with him in the Guest House? What is Sam up to, and how have Joel and Karen been getting along? More importantly, how's your quest going to find a way to properly get your new sister to agree to this whole thing?
