Cassidy was on board at first for the ultimate plan, until she remembered all the annoying high school drama she would be surrounded by. Nerds, cheerleaders, bookworms, and teachers that thought they knew everything. Cassidy kept a close eye on the certain teens during the day and made sure that two of them never noticed or payed much attention to her. Duke would instantly recognize her, while that annoying demon hunter, Caleb, would try and follow her to no end.
'Okay so I can't get near those assholes. What's worse, they've got a couple of bitches who follow them around like lovesick puppies.' Cassidy thought to herself seeing how Gloria and Sasha were close to their boyfriends much of the day.
Cassidy considered talking to Jackie, but when she heard her talking to some other friends in the hallways, she knew that Jackie couldn't be deceived so easily. That left her with Diane and Naomi as her targets, she readied herself and went to the girls during lunch.
"Uh...hi...hi there, I'm a little new to this school and I was hopin' to make a few friends. Do ye, do ye ladies mind if I sit down here?" Cassidy said in her Scottish accent.
"Not at all, sit down." Diane said as Naomi nodded in reply with a smile.
"Oh, my name's Cassie."
"I'm Naomi, this is my girlfriend, Diane." Naomi introduced herself.
"Thanks ladies. I can't tell you how hard it is moving to a town with me and my dad and not knowing anyone." Cassidy said giving a tale that was only half of a lie.
"You don't have any other family in the area?" Naomi asked.
"Well, there is me Aunt Nat, she's...something else. But for years it's just been me and my dad and it's been lovely." Cassidy said with a loving sigh.
"Okay, so is your aunt on your dad's side or your mom's side?" Diane asked.
"Oh, definitely my mom's side of the family. But he's not the least bit interested in her." Cassidy said.
"Maybe you could arrange a little date night for him and her and see if they connect?" Naomi suggested.
"He is NOT interested in her." Cassidy said gritting her teeth keeping herself from yelling at them.
"Besides, my aunt is....well, bisexual, and my dad just has never really gotten used to that side of her." Cassidy explained to them.
"I know the feeling. My dad is still dealing with my mom coming out as being bisexual. She kept it a secret from him for years, but they're still together." Naomi explained as Cassidy had an opening for Natalia to make a move.
Cassidy took out her phone and pretended to be reading a text.
"Oh, perfect. My dad won't be able to pick me up today, I've got to ask my aunt to come get me." Cassidy said as she began texting Natalia.
"So do your parents pick you up as well?" Cassidy asked them.
"My mom is actually picking us up today after school." Naomi said not really thinking anything of it.
"Cool, your mom would like my aunt, they might have a lot to talk about. My aunt could always use a good friend." Cassidy said as she finished texting Natalia.
'I've got a bisexual mom for you to seduce, pick me up after school and work your magic. She may know a lot about these wizards.'
The lunch bell rang as the three of them got up.
"Well see you around school." Diane said.
"Bye girls, you're about to have a very interesting school year." Cassidy smirked as she began snickering to herself.
