Richard Reed kept on a-jogging.
And, he also kept on a-shrinking.
His tracksuit became more and more baggier, and his sneakers became very loose on his feet.
But he still didn't know he was shrinking.
By now he was about half his size.
Suddenly, he tripped, and ran right out of his shoes and socks, and nearly falling face first to the floor.
"Oh my," he said. "I feel funny."
Upon realising that his sneakers and socks were too big to wear, he decided to carry them, and pulled up the legs of his tracksuit.
Bare feet pounding the dusty path, carried on down the rest of the way, wincing as he felt the soles of his feet aching.
"I've gotta get home so i can call the doctor!" He said, between grunts and yelps of pain, feeling the rocks and branches poking the dirt-coated soles of his bare feet.
