Connor now sat beside Spark, watching the cat girl play by the fire as her maid and gunoid vied for her attention. Letting out a sigh as he gazed out at the world, Connor felt at peace.
"How you doing Connor?"
Connor now turned to his fairy companion, a wide smile upon his face. "Great," he smiled. "I feel...really at peace. Just looking at the girl, her maids, the woods, even the moon. All of it, its just so, so...."
"Wonderous," Spark asked, to which Connor nodded. "Yeah thats one of the beauties of being a fairy. You gain a whole new appreciation for nature. Nature, magic, being a fairy...well, it just rocks I guess."
Connor chuckled, shaking his head. "I'm glad you like being a fairy but I should probably go back to being human. Thanks for showing me this though."
"Dont mention it," Spark grinned.
Slowly the two fairies now stood from the branch they were perched on. Connor stretched, gazing down at the quartet he now gazed at the green fairy. "I should probably change them back huh?"
"Your call really," Spark shrugged. "Remember you altered reality. No one will know the difference. If you do decide to change them back though, just remember to let the magic flow through you. Don't force it."
Connor nodded, gazing at the cat girl and her friends the boy realized that while they were certainly happy, they would have an easier time being their old selves. Taking a deep breath, Connor now exhaled, feeling the sensation of the magic flow through him.
In an instant, where a teddy bear, cat maid, cat girl, and robot transformed into four college students once more. The four coeds blinked for a moment before sitting down next to the fire, completely oblivious to the changes that had taken place.
"Race you home Spark," Connor exclaimed, the tiny blue fairy zipping away quickly and laughing. Soon the two fairies were flying through the air, giggling and playing as they made their way home.
As Connor now approached his home, his eyes went wide as he beheld the massive two story home. "Wow I never thought my house was THAT big!"
Sparks laughed, squeezing Connors shoulder tightly. "Sure is at least from this perspective. Makes you think doesn't it?"
Connor simply nodded, a quiet moment lingering between the two. "So how come you and Caleb weren't hunting tonight?"
"Gloria's sister has that coveted," Sparks stated. "Said she was going with a friend if hers. Guy named Mike Davis."
"Mike Davis," Connor exclaimed. "The pitcher!"
"Um I don't know," Spark shrugged. "I think he's an athlete? Heard he played some sport I think?"
"No way," Connor gasped. The preteen now began to gush about the rookie pitcher he had watched over the summer.
"15 wins and an ERA under 3," he said excitedly. "Not to mention a 97 MPH fastball, a wicked slider, and one of the nastiest cutters in the majors! Oh man, I have his rookie card. Do you think Gloria could ask him to give me an autograph?"
"I'll see what I can do," Spark chuckled. "Forgot what a baseball fanatic you were."
"Maybe we can watch a game sometime."
Spark nodded, Connor shifting nervously as the fairy began to return him to normal. "Hey Spark," he asked as the fairies magic began to wash over him. "Can I ask you something?"
"Sure go ahead."
"Well," Connor stammered. "I um...have a dance at school in a couple of weeks. Umm would you like to, um, go with me?"
Sparks eyes went wide, unsure of what to say to the young preteen. Already she could see Connor was beginning to grow larger. Quickly the fairy now flew towards the boy, placing an innocent kiss on the bewildered boys face.
"Its a date!"
In a flash Connor now grew to full size. The preteen sporting a goofy smile as the fairy winked at him as they now entered the Moreland home.
