"Maybe I should talk to her first? See just how exactly she feels about your boy." Lisa suggested as she got up and Nina followed her over to Spark's room and they could hear Connor's voice as well.
"So how long will this last?" Connor asked Spark.
"It's just for the rest of the day, we can hang out, watch a movie....kiss." Spark said with a slight giggle.
"Okay, it's just for the day. Lucky for me it's the weekend." Connor said as Spark began to speak a spell.
Nina got worried and opened the door in a hurry just to see Spark and Connor standing in the middle of a magic circle.
"Connor Moreland, you get out of that circle this inst....!" Nina began to say before Spark shouted a warning.
"No, stop! You'll interfere with the....!" Was all Spark could say before a white flash blinded everyone in the room.
Connor opened his eyes and looked at himself to see that he was an adult again and looked near him to see that Spark was an adult woman.
"Spark, Spark, wake up." Connor said gently tapping her face.
"Oh...Connor? Connor, it is you, it worked! We're adults again for the day!" Spark shouted gleefully.
"But where's my....mom?!" Connor asked as they both saw that Nina Moreland and Lisa Turner were young teenage girls.
"Connor, you better have a damn good explanation for this." Nina said in her younger voice making Connor and Spark snicker at her voice.
"Well...Mrs. Moreland, you kept going on about how Connor and I should take things slow and that his feelings could change, well we wanted to show you and Jacob that we'd be perfect for each other as grown ups. My spell was just supposed to be for us, but thanks to you and Lisa, it backfired and now you two are teenagers." Spark explained.
"You shouldn't have been messing with spells in the first place. Wait, why do you still call her 'Lisa' but not me 'Nina', I'm not even old enough to be a 'Mrs. Moreland'." Nina argued.
"I call my friends by their first name, you still have yet to regain my friendship." Spark explained.
"How the hell am I supposed to...?!" Nina began to yell.
"Ah, hold on....Nina, this could be a great opportunity for you two." Young Lisa suggested.
"What do you mean?" Nina, Connor, and Spark all asked at the same time.
"Well, Connor and Spark can show you how good they'd be as a couple and as parents to a couple of....young daughters." Lisa winked.
"What? Lisa I'm not gonna..." Nina almost began to argue.
"Ah, ah, don't argue with your sister young lady." Connor said waving his finger.
"What? Connor you can't..." Nina began to argue again.
"Young lady you do not call your father by his first name." Spark said tapping her foot. Lisa encouraged her to follow along.
"Alright, mom and dad, what do you two want us to do?" Nina asked.
"Well, the spell only lasts until the sun has set. So until sunset, you two will act like sisters to each other, daughters to us, and do what we tell you. In return, Connor, sorry, I mean your father and I will do the stuff that Jacob and Mrs. Moreland usually do." Spark explained.
"Actually until the spell wears off, you're Mrs. Moreland." Connor reminded her.
"Oh...my...god...I am!" Spark said as she and Connor kissed on the lips.
"Now...young ladies, I believe you two have chores to attend to." Spark said as the four of them left the room.
Jacob was coming by to go to the kitchen when he saw two young girls exit Spark's room, followed by his adult son and Spark come out.
"Connor?" Jacob asked.
"Hi dad, Spark and I made a spell to make ourselves older, but mom and Mrs. Turner interfered with the spell and they're teenagers until the sun sets and we're all back to normal. The two of them are going to act like sisters, and we'll act like they're parents until the end of the day." Connor explained.
"Uh....okay, have them...uh, clean the truck too." Jacob said as he nodded and headed to the kitchen to grab a beer.
"You got it dad, or I guess bro in this case." Connor and Spark laughed at this.
"You knew you were going to be dealing with magic in your life Jacob Moreland, just deal with it." Jacob said to himself as he got a beer out of the fridge.
