Spark was in the kitchen looking over Nina's notes on food she usually cooks, while putting some eggs onto the frying pan as they sizzled.
"Okay now that was...four eggs on the frying pan, and....oh no wait! I was supposed to use three, okay, you can still salvage this." Spark said to herself as she let the eggs fry on the pan.
The microwave then started to beep as she realized that her last item she had cooked was finished but she now needed to flip the eggs over or else they'd be overdone, she carefully reached over to the microwave to grab with one hand while trying to flip the eggs over with the other.
Connor came into the kitchen and opened the microwave for her.
"Oh, thanks, I didn't even hear you come in." Spark thanked as she went back to the frying pan.
"No problem, uh...what exactly are you making in here? It looks like you've made several things already for like three dinners for us." Connor asked.
"Oh yeah, I was just trying to cook anything I could that sounded easy so I could show up 'little Nina'." Spark grumbled to herself.
"Here, let me help with that. She did show me how to make omelettes." Connor said as he helped finish the omelettes.
Both of them were standing quite close to each other as Spark kissed Connor on the cheek.
"Thank you." Spark said as Connor blushed.
"You're welcome, but Spark I really have to ask. You've been a little angrier at my mom more than usual lately, why is that?" Connor asked.
"Because she doesn't believe that we can be a couple." Spark answered.
"Come on Spark, I think we can work, she thinks we can work, she just wanted me to wait until I'm actually older by age and not by magic. Is there another reason?" Connor asked.
"N-N-No, there isn't." Spark answered quietly.
"Spark, come on, I know you better now than ever, what is it?"
"I want to be a Moreland!" Spark shouted.
"What? But, but you are a Moreland."
"No, Connor, I don't mean an honorary Moreland, I mean like actually married into the family. I want to be Mrs. Spark Moreland, I want to be your wife, I've seen how your parents are with one another and I've seen how your brother is with Gloria. What I've been feeling lately for you, I know it's what they have too. Don't you want me to be your wife too?" Spark asked.
Connor held Spark closely by the hand and looked her in the eyes.
"Of course Spark, I've got to say, whether you're a fairy or a human, I love you no matter what, and yeah I would like you to be Mrs. Spark Moreland one day." Connor replied.
"Thank you." Spark said holding back her happy tears.
"Oh, damn it, I almost forgot to turn off the stove. Oh, don't forget to do laundry please?" Spark asked.
"You got it, honey." Connor said with a smile as Spark finished in the kitchen before proceeding to help Connor with the laundry.
