Ann and Jackie sat in the front of Ann's car while Gloria and Caleb in the back of her car. It didn't take them too long to find the restaurant, but it did take them a little bit find a parking space.
"Damn, why couldn't we have just gone to a less expensive restaurant again?" Caleb asked.
"Because you and I have been vampire hunting and had enough date interruptions since we've been together and I want to have one good romantic night." Gloria explained.
"Yeah, but I don't think I can pay for this." Caleb said looking at the restaurant.
"It's okay Caleb, I got you all covered. After all, I can't say no to a night out with my darling." Ann said holding Jackie close to her.
"You know, it is pretty cold tonight, think we can keep close while we're inside to warm up, angel?" Jackie asked as she and Ann giggled with one another.
Gloria and Caleb rolled their eyes at one another. The restaurant was a few places away from a fast food restaurant, where a middle aged woman with bags under her eyes and unruly hair was dragging her 9 year-old son back to their car. It seemed obvious that the woman had seen much better days in her youth.
"Damn kids joint, crawling with all those little bastards..." The woman said to herself as she pushed past Ann and Jackie.
"Watch it you rich bitches! I've gotta teach this little smart ass a lesson when I get home." The woman yelled at the group as she made her way to her car with her son trying to get out of the way.
Ann and Jackie both looked at each other then nodded as Jackie used her ring on the rude mother and her son.
The four of them watched as the woman became younger and younger with each moment. Her skinny body began to regain some of it's muscle as she began to look much healthier than before, most likely as a result of drug abuse. Her gray hair regained its bright color as it formed into a bun atop her head, then her body began to gain weight as she became very lovely plus size woman wearing a brown mink coat with fancy jewelry.
The woman's son became older and grew a mustache on his face and wore a dashing suit with a bow tie as he and the woman wrapped their arms around each other and wedding rings appeared on their fingers.
"Good evening to you ladies, having a quartet date tonight are we?" The now polite rich woman asked.
"Indeed we are." Ann politely replied back.
"Lovely, though I do hate that this establishment is next to that garish place." The rich woman shuddered.
"Try not to look at it dear, it is filled with the most garish of people." The rich husband said as they walked inside the restaurant.
"Did you really have to change those people?" Caleb asked.
"That woman was asking for it. Besides, no one calls my future wife a bitch." Jackie said as Ann gave her a kiss on the cheek.
After getting inside, it was only a little while of waiting before the four of them were led to a table. As the four of them looked at their menus, Caleb tried decide not on anything cheap to eat for himself and Gloria. He eventually came to a conclusion that he and Gloria both could agree on. Now as they waited for their orders to be taken, Caleb tried to think of a conversation starter and thought back to all that Gloria had told them.
"So....Gloria told me you two have a daughter in the future?" Gloria's eyes widened as she gagged on some water she had been drinking while Ann and Jackie now looked to be uncomfortable rather than loving as they had looked a moment ago.
"Well...." Jackie tried to say.
"You...you see...we don't....really know..." Ann tried forming an answer.
"Just who this girl from the future could be." Jackie finished.
"But Gloria told me that she did look like Jackie, and she even had her last name." Caleb said.
"Ex-nay on my name-ay." Gloria whispered to Caleb blushing red.
"Sorry, I just...was trying to...make conversation?" Caleb answered as Gloria gave herself a face palm.
"I...had been thinking about her on/off again and about my relationship with Ann." Jackie finally answered.
The three of them now looked at Jackie to see where she was going with this.
"So, what did you finally figure out?" Gloria asked.
"The truth is, there are plenty of men out there who I might be attracted to, maybe some women too. But I couldn't imagine my life without you Ann, so I'll....whisper this to you and you alone." Jackie said as she whispered into Ann's ear as she listened closely and then gasped and began to blush. Ann then looked at Jackie and gave her a deep kiss on the cheek.
"Uh...what was that about?" Gloria asked.
"Sorry, can't tell you. As of now, Ann and I share a secret we won't reveal for a couple of years." Jackie said as she and Ann held each other's hands.
"Fine, have your secrets." Gloria said as she began drinking water again.
"By the way Ann, Gloria told me that Caleb doesn't take his hat off when he's sleeping." Jackie said with a smirk as Gloria gagged again on her water.
"Jackie..." Gloria silently groaned as the three of them then began chuckling before the waiter came to take their orders.
