Andrew wonders through the crowd, feeling anonymous amongst the crowds of video gaming enthusiasts. Andrew scanned each room. The games were orginaized by room. Each series was given its own room, making the arcade a labyrinth of cooridors and oddly decorates rooms. The game art was framed and hung on the walls of each room like family portraits or a pop art galeria. The place seemed to be half museum and half arcade, although there was definately places were it seemed more of one than the other.
Deciding to take a break, Andrew sat down on a cozy couch next to some potted trees. He closed his eyes for a moment and too a deep breath, thinking what he should look for. It was at that moment that Andrew first met "him." A firm hand gripped his shoulder from behind. Startled, Andrew spun around and came face to face with a very handsome young man.
The young man smiled slightly, "Did I scare you? I'm sorry."
Andrew blushed a small bit, "No, I mean yea, er, I mean-- that wasn't very nice." Andrew was mentally hitting hois head against a wall.
The young man lisfted his hands and took a step back, "I'm sorry, it won't happen again."
Andrew pouted his lips, "It better not." Andrew noticed that the young man was dressed a little more forma than most of the sloopy gammers. "Do you work here?" he asked.
The young man gave another grin, "I own this place."
Andrew stared bugg-eyed for a second. "Wha?"
The yound man scratched the back of his head and smiled,"Yup, built it with my own two hands."
Still buggy-eyed Andrew questioned, "Why?"
"To lure that special person and to celebrate the worlds video games represent."
Andrew chuckled, "What do you mean by video game worlds? You mean the series?"
The young man shook his head, "I always thought that for every story there's a world somewhere that coresponds with it, and that for every story told there's numerous variations on that world. I wanted to see what would happen if I brought enough worlds together."
Andrew nuged away, "Oh-kay."
The young man laughed, "You must think I'm nuts, huh?"
"Just a little bit."
"Well, you know there's a lot of fun things you can do if you just get enough human energy together."
Andrew grinned his teeth, "Have you been watching Sailor moon?"
The young man just chuckled to himself, "You know what, I'll show you. If nothing happens you get free admission for life."
Andrew laughed nerviously, "Whadda mean if nothing hapens?"
"Oh, you'll see. Now, is there a game you've fantasied about? Made your own worlds?"
