Jackson casted multiple bolts of lightning towards Jane. I felt a rush of air flow onto me as Jane dodged the spells. Jane then casted her own spell, causing me to black out for a few seconds.
Jackson found himself caught up in a mini tornado, preventing him from moving. Jane casted a couple of other spells, but Jackson casted a shield spell around himself.
Jane then thought of an idea. She targeted her attacks at the tornado instead of Jackson. Her spell spun around Jackson, with Jackson moving his shield to protect himself from it. This action left a blind spot, which let Jane cast her final blow.
“Shazam!” Jane shouted.
Jackson was struck. Jackson’s coven booed, while Jane’s coven cheered. I watched Jackson shrink, and became thinner and thinner. His human features began to fade away as he shrunk. When he became thin enough, the tornado started to fling him around.
Eventually, the tornado subsided, flinging Jackson towards Jane’s head. Only that Jackson wasn’t a human anymore. He was a red ribbon.
When Jackson made contact with Jane’s head, he ended up tying himself into the shape of a bow in the back of Jane’s hair.
“And the winner is… Jane!”
When Jane got back to the house, Miranda spoke to her.
“Congratulations on the win. Now, make sure you talk to your prize, and humiliate him as much as possible. You will drain his strength that way,” Miranda said.
“Uh, I’m not sure if I can do that. I feel kind of bad,” Jane said.
“Don’t worry. You’ll get used to it. I bully my dress all the time! He used to be a weightlifter that prided himself on how manly he was. Now look at how cute he is!” Miranda said. She gave her dress a twirl. “See? I feel stronger by just doing that.”
I felt angry at this. Why were they paying attention to their other objects, but not me? They were no more human than I am, so why did I get ignored? My frustration gave me a surge of energy, which immediately got absorbed by Jane.
