"Stop" One word, spoken in a normal conversational tone with no particular emphasis, ended the fight. The person who uttered it was an ordinary-looking white woman in her early 20s. Reece felt the hairs rise on the back of his neck the way they only had before in the presence of the Sumerian goddesses.
"My name is Ty" the woman continued "And this is my garden you're stomping all over. I've dealt with demon princesses who've shown more respect than you people. You" she turned to Reece "Came into my world without seeing me to ask permission or even just to check in but I let it slide because you didn't cause any trouble and you were good for Barry, one of the roughly nine billion people I'm responsible for. That was a mistake on my part."
"Because then I got the rest of you! You actually brought a cursed item into my world! You brought a person afflicted with the Glendale curse!" (Ty had destroyed her universe's version of the Glendale curse years ago, but it was the principle that mattered.) "You started slinging magic around in a crowded room full of my people! Give me one reason why I shouldn't turn you all into pill bugs!"
No one had anything to say.
"Give me the snowglobe" Aziza, who had somehow kept possession of it, handed it to Ty. "There" Ty said "The curse is gone. My power, and I still don't know where or why or from whom I got it, far exceeds what your magic can do. If the curse is what's powering the winter in your world, it should end shortly. Now" she opened a portal "You, Aziza, Savannah, Kylie, leave this world and never return. If I find you here again, I will turn you into pill bugs, or maybe something worse." She handed the snowglobe back to Aziza as the three, with the sheepish expressions of kids caught by their mom, shuffled through the gate back to Reece's home in their original universe.
"You" said Ty, turning to Reece "Seem to have been good for Barry." Suddenly Reece was joined by a puzzled Barry. "So I'm going to offer you a choice. I have no need of a Sorceress Supreme, so if you want to stay in this world, with Barry, you lose all of your magical powers and abilities. Like all the people of my world, you have the power of genderfluidity, but that's it. You're a high school science teacher again and that's all you are. Or you can go back, under the same condition I imposed on the others of never returning. Choose now, but I warn you, you have nothing I either desire or fear. I would advise you very strongly not to try bargaining with me."
