The PLF project or The perfect life form was an experiment realized secretly by thousands of scientists with the objective of creating the definitive creature on the planet, a symbionte being able to adapt to anything such as any surface, ecosystem, kill any predator, and many other obstacles, everything thanks to its ability to replicate any DNA on itself, using fish parts on an aquatic environment, replicating strong animal parts when fighting a predator or growing wings if it needs to fast travel. The PLF had no weakness, except one.
The PLF was incomplete, it needed its other half, a host, this was intentionally designed so it could merge with a human and turn the human race into the perfect being, but the creature escaped, refusing to collaborate with any of the scientists.
Without its other half, the symbionte was a useless white slime that crawled on the street, waiting for a compatible host.
