After a while of silence, Jared starts to speak again, “before I think of what to do with you, dear brother,” he says, the evil smirk still on his face, “there is something I need to do. For now, change your hair back to black.”
Jeff stares at his little brother, fear in his eyes, still unable to move and talk, 'what has gotten into him,' he thinks to himself.
Jared smirks as he watches Jeff's hair return back to normal, “now, be a good boy and stay put while I head into your room,” he says. He notices the questionable look in Jeff's eyes and smirks, “oh, I just want to make sure that no one will be able to take away my power,” he says, “so, I'll be merging the program with my mind. I'll be immortal and the most powerful being in the universe, nothing and no one will be able to stop me.” Jared lets out a evil sounding laugh as he unlocks and opens the door of his room, he then walks to Jeff's room and sits down at his laptop. “Okay, now how do I make the program merge with my brain,” he asks himself.
As if to answer the boy's question, a message pops up on the screen, the message reads: “You need to unlock the secret feature “Program Merge”. This feature only unlocks if the program detects that you are trustworthy and have no evil intentions,” Jared frowns, but continues to read. “Once unlocked and activated, the feature will cause the program to sync with your brain. Once the program and your mind are connected, and if the program does not detect any evil or untrustworthy energies within your mind, the merging process will begin.”
“Hmmm... bugger... so, if the program detects evil energies it'll not work,” Jared mumbles to himself, he thinks for a while, “maybe I can trick it, I'd just need to think about wanting to help people and use the power for good. Let's see what else the message has to say,” so the boy continues to read.
“Though, if the program detects evil and untrustworthy energies, the secret feature will destroy itself, along with the program. Once the merge is complete, you will not only have huge and unlimited power over everything, you'll also be immortal. While your brain will become the actual program, your eyes will become the scanner. You'd only need to look at something: a human, a animal, a object.... to be able to gather its information data. You can either think or say out loud what that person, animal or object should become, or what should change about said person, object or animal.”
Jared grins, “that is what I want,” he says, he then continues to read.
“The developers of the program will not be notified about the merge, since the hidden feature has not been documented in the main report. If you wish to start the process, simply say “commence energy detection”, and the program will do the rest. Once the detection process is completed, the program will ask if you really wish to continue, once confirmed the merging process will start, the process is not painful.”
Jared stops reading, he heard enough and can't wait any longer, “time to get this done,” he says with a smirk. The 10-year-old takes deep breaths, clearing his mind of evil and negative thoughts, replacing them with thoughts about wanting to help people and use the power for good, “commence energy detection,” he then says and waits to see what happens.
Jeff's laptop starts to give of a whirring sound, Jared watches in amazement as a thin cable starts to slither out of Jeff's laptop. The cable raises up and starts to move towards Jared, the boy soon notices a long needle-like protrusion at the end of cable. Seeing this, Jared starts to feel fear raise in him, but he forces himself to stay calm. The syringe makes a B-line in midair, moving towards the back of the boy's head, Jared braces himself, he soon feels a stinging pain against the back of his head, causing him to clench his eyes and groan. He feels the needle enter his scull, penetrating the bone with no effort. The boy's eyes shoot open when he feels a sharp pain in his brain, he assumes that the needle has made contact with his brain. The boy feels himself become stiff, as if in a stand-by mode, he then gets the sensation of pins and needles and assumes that the detection process has begone.
After what feels like hours, the tingling stops and Jared feels his body returning to its normal state, “w-woah... that was intense and painful,” he mumbles weakly. Jared then hears a ping coming from the laptop, he looks at the screen and grins as he reads the message.
“Energy detection process complete, no evil energy detected. Do you wish to continue? Simply say “commence merge”, and the process will begin.”
Jared smirks and without a hesitation says, “commence merge,” once he says those words, he feels his body once again become stiff, his eyes fixed on the screen where a new message has popped up.
“Merging process in progress,” it says.
Jared then suddenly feels a huge energy starting to fill his brain, it does not feel painful, it feels extremely pleasurable. The boy can even feel his penis become erect, his pants starting to tent, the more energy flows into him, the more Jared feels his brain would burst. The boy feels himself become more and more powerful, becoming more than a human being, he is being remade... no... reborn into something much much better than a human. He is becoming a god, a being with unlimited powers, able to transform anything and anyone and make the whole world bow to him. His pupils turn red as his eyes become the scanners for his computer brain, the boy starts to shake as the last of the energy floods into his brain. Then with one final strong energy surge the boy's vision turns black.
Jared lets out a groan, “man, my head feels so full,” he mumbles, the boy looks around, he has no idea of how long he was out. He turns his head to Jeff's laptop and sees a message appear on the screen.
“Merging successful,” it says, “if you only feel tired and not much different than before, don't worry. Your body simply needs to adjust to the power, once your brain and body have adjusted you will feel different. Give your body and brain at least a few hours to two days to adjust, you will know when the process is completed,” with that the message disappears and the laptop shuts off.
Jared smirks, “something tells me that the program has completely vanished from Jeff's laptop,” he says, “I already can feel that I am no longer a normal human, I guess I'll be ready in two hours. I assume since I am still a small boy, that the power does not take long to fill my body with the power,” Jared chuckles, he then decides to head back into his room to check on Jeff.
Returning to his room, Jared stops in the doorway, smirking, as he sees Jeff still standing on the same spot like a statue. Jared walks in to his room and closes and locks the door, he then walks over to his bed and sits on the edge, facing Jeff. “I see you did as told,” he says with a smirk, “hehe... well, I didn't give you a other chance, did I? The program is now merged with my brain, I feel myself becoming more and more powerful as the seconds tick by. I have at least two hours to figure what to do with you, dear brother.” Jared lets out a chuckle, then he picks up a comic and leans back against the wall.
Jeff watches his brother, unable to turn away or even run, due to Jared's last command, 'I... I don't recognize my brother,' he thinks to himself, 'what happened to the kind and funny boy? It seems that, what ever happened has somehow corrupted him.'
Jared suddenly lets out a groan, his body starts to tremble, the comic falling from his hands, “oh yes,” the boy breaths, “I can feel it... my power is... almost... complete.” Suddenly Jared's head snaps back, his mouth and eyes wide and bright white light bursts from them. Once the light has faded, Jared slowly brings head forward, an evil smirk on his face, “what a rush,” he breaths, licking his lips, “I feel so... so amazing,” the boy gets up from the bed and walks over to his brother, “now, what should I do with you,” he asks, grinning evilly.
