Mary was 17 and just starting his first job. She had just gotten hired to work at the department store. She was told at orientation about the qr code on her badge but not completely. Looking back she probably wouldve never believed it. She figured regardless of the item she'd need to use it to the best of her ability. Plays with toys, set up furniture or use if she could, etc.
As soon as her shift began she was given her badge and was told to monitor each floor in case someone needed a demonstration.
So here she was walking around the expansive store with QR code visible for whoever wanted to use it. Thankfully the store was pretty empty so he had a bit to familiarize herself with the store layout. It was the same basic floor plan of any number of department stores with areas for clothes, groceries, toys, pets, and so on.
The main indicator that this place was abnormal was how each department was laid out. There was floor space dedicated to accessible display models of bigger items and areas to take and leave open products to be restocked or thrown away after they were "demonstrated".
