Arianna had to get out of the castle and find someplace to hide until Bachus' spell wore off if she wanted to stay alive. But first she had to get out of her room, considering she was now too short to reach the door handle. She was just considering making a rope out of her bedsheets to climb out the window, when the door suddenly opened, smacking into Arianna and knocking her to the floor. Looking up, she was greeted by the sight of one of her handmaids, holding a tray with a tea set on it.
The transformed princess and the servant girl stared at each other for a moment, then the servant's eyes widened as she realized what she was seeing, and she dropped the tray with a scream.
"Ahh! Goblin! Goblin in the castle!" she yelled, turning and running down the hallway.
"Wait! Arianna not be goblin, Arianna be princess!" Arianna yelled after the girl, only to stop and slap a hand over her mouth as she realized what she'd just said. Aside from the fact that her voice was now a raspy hiss, she'd been talking in the twisted syntax that all goblins seemed to. Whatever spell Bachus had put on her, apparently it hadn't just changed her body, but affected even her voice; now even that little bit of her true self was gone.
Hearing a commotion down the hallway, Arianna realized that guards were approaching. Knowing that staying meant certain death, she ran out of the room and down the other end, stumbling for a bit due to the weight of her enlarged breasts and new center of gravity, but quickly adjusting herself and continuing to run.
More yells echoed down the halls as word of the intruding goblin's presence spread, while Arianna ran in a blind panic, looking for escape or a place to hide. Finally...
