Jeff’s eyes were scanning the screen as he looked through the multitude of options listed before him. There was the girl packages, which seemed rather appealing (woah, look at that autgynephilia), or the family packages, though he didn’t want to mess with his siblings or parents too much. The gene splicer seemed cool, the chameleon clothes seemed rather interesting to experiment.
But of all the options Jeff received, one seemed rather apparent. Across all timelines, only this Jeff seemed to receive the “Crossover Package” option.
“I’m not certain what this means…”
Opening it up, Jeff read: “Meet a character from another major timeline within the CYOC multiverse. This may or may not bring in a person that may unlimited power, but the package automatically prevents such a person from distorting your reality without your command, or harming you in any way, intentionally or not.
In addition, as part of the program’s warranty, only you are able to access the Chronivac at any given time, and will continue to do so until you find a successor to it.”
“Huh. Neat.” Jeff said.
