Joy was unsure of what to do. She knew that she had to finish the game so her friends could return to normal, but she didn't want something weird happen to her. But she knew that if she didn't roll the dice and take her chances, she would most certainly be kicked out of the sorority for not helping a sister in need. So she grabbed the dice and fate fly. The dice landed on the number ten. Again, the girls all watched as Joy's game piece moved ten spaces forward and stopped on a yellow square.
Joy took the top card from the yellow deck and read it aloud. "Have a seat. What does that mean? I'm already sitting dow...what the hell?!"
At first Joy thought she was only stuck to the chair, but upon closer examination, she realized that her body was becoming part of the chair.
The other girls moved to see what changes were happening to Joy.
They watched helplessly as Joy's legs slowly became absorbed in the chair's legs. Joy tried to struggle but to no avail. Slowly, her lap flattened out as it merged with the seat and her back fused with the back of the chair.
The changes lasted less than a minute, but when they were done Joy nearly wept. While her head and arms remained unaffected, the rest of her body had merged completely with the chair. She tried to move her legs, but nothing happened.
"This game keeps getting weirder and weirder," Cyndi said. "What next?"
"I guess we'll find out in a minute," Sue said as she picked up the dice. "It's my turn now."
