Thinking of a way to hide the Vase proved difficult, it was just too large for most of the places he could think of.
"Wait, maybe i don't have to hide the whole thing? I don't want to risk shattering it, but taking off one piece shouldn't matter, right?"
He hid the Vase under Beth's desk, before quickly leaving the room, quietly closing the door behind him.
Serad came back a short while later, a few tools grasped in his left hand.
He looked around the room to make sure no one was around, before pulling the Vase out from under the desk and flipping it over.
"I better make this quick, who knows how long i have before a maid or something like that enters the room."
He put the tools down, before picking out a hammer and a small chisel, which he placed between the face and the rest of the squished body, carefully hammering it in, before moving it slightly to the side and hammering it in again.
After going around the entire face, and putting a gap below it by tilting the chisel a bit, Serad but the tools aside, instead picking up a wire with a handle on each end. He moved the wire into the gap and started slowly pulling it back and forth.
It only took him a few minutes to get through most of the material under the face, but he was still afraid that someone might walk in while he was working, and decided to speed it up by grabbing the face and giving it a hard pull.
The face came loose with a *thunk*, and Serad stumbled back a bit, but managed to regain his balance.
He looked down at the comically squashed face in his hand. "Alright, it came off in one piece."
Serad looked back at the Vase, considering for a moment where to hide it, before shrugging and putting it in a corner.
"Doesn't really matter if anyone finds it now. Maybe i should fill in the spot where the face was though, it looks a bit off without without it."
He looked down at his hand again, scratching his head with the other. "But what do i do with this thing now..."
