Padding over to Mike’s bedroom door, Jake paused to see if his master was still awake. The computer thought for a moment, evaluating the username password combination, before granting Jake access to the PC and the Chronivac software. Jake filed the username and password into his memory thinking this wasn’t going to be the last time he’ll want to explore and experiment with the Chronivac. Initially the software was overwhelming with all of the options, possibilities, and potential held within a seemingly innocuous program. After a significant amount of trial and error, Jake found his way to his profile. He decided he wanted to go a similar route as his master, who had temporarily become more canine, and temporarily become more human. In the species submenu, Jake added a line and from the dropdown menu selected human to go with the existing canine. Then he changed the percent makeup to 50 percent each. Based on those settings, the Chronivac automatically updated his species to anthropomorphic canine. The duration was set to 3 hours. Jake wagged happily as he selected to save his profile changes.
A warning box popped up summarizing the changes – ‘NOTICE: Target JAKE will be changed from feral canine to anthropomorphic canine for 3 hours. Please confirm transformation.’ Jake selected transform and slid off the chair in anticipation. Jake waited and circled with nervous excitement as the Chronivac worked on altering reality as instructed; tail swaying slowly behind him.
Eventually Jake was hit with an intense need to stretch. His hips felt tight, as if he had just woken up from a long nap. Jake, accordingly, went into a downward dog pose kicking his hind paws out in a deep exaggerated stretch that was feeling nice a relaxing…until he tried to stand back up onto all fours. His hind legs were still in a digitigrade stance. Except there was far more leg than before. If he were to get his hind legs under him, his butt would be cartoonishly high in the air. A butt that was plumping up and getting far meatier than Jake was used to while his hips expanded to a wider stance. A pins and needles feeling next struck Jake’s hind paws as they expanded as if filling with air. The paws kept their canine shape but became a size no one would expect to see on a pit bull. All the better to distribute the full weight of a canine walking only on its hind legs.
Jake rolled over onto his back as his shoulders broadened and chest following along – shifting from a deep barrel formation to more of an ovoid configuration. His forelimbs relaxed at his sides, inheriting a greater range of motion, as they elongated toward his hips. Jake wiggled his fore paws as the bones shifted and elongated into an intriguing cross between human and canine, keeping his thick claws and paw pads while gaining human dexterity and, most importantly, thumbs. His body involuntarily shivered as his neck and skull realigned to view the world from a bipedal stance.
Feeling that the changes had subsided, Jake decided to try to stand up using the desk for support. He had heaved his way to his hind paws and was working out the kinks of his new bipedal stance when a new wave struck his crotch. His canine sheath simply appeared to deflate before his eyes. The baculum disintegrated and sheath released its grip on his abdomen causing his package to flop over his balls.
