"OK, so do you understand the plan, Fran?" Jennifer asked Kylie with a cheeky smile.
"I think so, but what I don't understand is why you don't just, you know, put a thought in the other Jennifer's head so she stops being such a bitch. No offense."
"None taken, and the answer is because it's wrong to mess with people's minds, Kylie. Consent is important. We want these alternate versions of ourselves to make their own choices to be better people."
"You are *so* different from how I remember you" Kylie said.
"Taking on the responsibility of Sorceress Supreme forced me to start care about the cosmos at large and not about materialistic concerns like looks, money, or popularity."
"Oh fuck you, now you're just being annoying in a different way. Now you're acting some fake New Age hippie."
"Hush, hear he comes."
Jennifer and Kylie watched as Kyle Perkins walked from his morning Biology class to the lunchroom.
Kylie knew this scene well. She had played it in her minds a million times since getting her memories back.
As soon as Kyle rounded the corner, Jennifer Smith and several of her girlfriends would sneak up behind him pants him in front of practically the entire senior and junior classes.
Everyone would laugh.
Kyle would be humiliated.
He'd run outside and cry.
He'd never get over it.
His heart would grow with hate.
He'd begin thinking of ways to hurt Jennifer, at first wanting to shoot her and Tom Winters dead at the Fall Fling dance, but when he couldn't get his hands on a gun, he stumbled upon the Glendale Curse instead, which caused a lot more damage than a gun ever could.
Kyle was whistling to himself, not even noticing the two attractive young women scoping him out.
"Ready?" Jennifer asked.
"I guess so" Kylie said unenthusiastically.
"Good. Go. Shoo."
Jennifer prompted Kylie with her hand to leave her hiding spot.
Kylie walked up to Kyle and began walking with him.
"Hi!" she said with a friendly smile.
"Uh...hi" Kyle said, turning to look at the stunningly pretty blonde, struggling not to stare at her cleavage. "Do I know you?"
"No, I'm new in town. My family just transferred here from Fresno. What's your name?"
"Kyle."
"Oh my God, *my* name is Kylie! What a coincidence!"
"Um" Kyle said, clearly very nervous.
Kylie knew that she used to be really nervous about girls back when she was a boy, so she tried to be disarming.
"I really love your t-shirt. I like Neon Genesis Evangelion too."
"You do?"
"Yeah! Hey, do you mind hanging out with me for lunch? I don't have anyone else to talk to."
"I...I guess."
"Less than a week here, and I've already found a new bestie! Do you mind if we go to Wendy's or something though?"
"Um...sure."
"Great!"
Kylie grabbed Kyle's hand in a platonic way as they walked off campus towards the local Wendy's..
Meanwhile, Jennifer Smith watched as her alternate reality counterpart were approaching Kyle.
"Who's that girl he's talking to?" asked one of Jennifer's equally bitchy friends Susan.
"No idea. She looks beautiful though" Jennifer said. She didn't sound jealous of Kylie, just respectful of a fellow sister in her ascendance. "I guess we can't prank the little shit today if he has company."
Sorceress Jennifer pulled the fire alarm.
