Mandy ate a very light meal then changed into Paul’s basketball gear. He would eat more after the game. He told Paul about the new date with Melissa for tomorrow night.
Paul replied ‘That wasn’t very smart. I’ll still be you tomorrow. You should have made it for next weekend. You will have to take the date’ Paul pointed out. Mandy didn’t tell Paul about the kissing session by the creek. He also didn’t admit to being very happy that he would be the person taking Melissa to the date.
The basketball went without much incident. It was rare that Paul’s mother attended a game but she had done it before. Paul watched as Mandy was once more the star. He was given the role of point guard but that didn’t stop him scoring himself. They were playing one of the bottom teams so were expected to win but no-one was expecting the thrashing they handed out. The team won 72 to 18. “Paul” was top scorer with 32 points. Dave, Simon and Alex also scored double figures.
The real Paul had to admit that her Mother was a better basketballer than she was. There was absolutely no comparison. She knew it would be such a letdown when she was the player once more.
Mandy was absolutely thrilled with his performance. It was marvellous to have such an athletic body and stronger muscles. She was stronger, faster and it was great to have a body that didn’t wobble. He just loved playing basketball in Paul’s body.
Paul had a driving lesson on the way home. Her driving was improving rapidly. She was even comfortable driving in modest heels.
Once home instead of having a shower Mandy used the medallion to regain her own body. She had to take a class in the morning and if she changed now she would be able to change back into Paul as soon as she was back home. That way she would have plenty of time to prepare for the date with Melissa. She made sure to change into a version of herself that did not have an imminent period.
