Ken grinned as he realized what Jeff was turning into.
Ken was a fan of British television, and in particular liked the 1970s comedy team known as 'The Goodies.' The night before, he'd been watching on DVD an episode of their show called 'Clown Virus,' which featured a nerve gas that turned the entire population of Great Britain into clowns. And not simply people wearing make-up, the gas actually gave them complexions like a clown's make-up, big red noses, and super large feet and made them talk in silly voices. It even affected their clothes to look like clown outfits.
Ken typed in what he wanted his friend to look like, then gave a little more thought. The people affected by that gas didn't just look like clowns, they would feel compelled to behave like clowns as well, although they were still aware of what had happened to them. After a couple of seconds, Ken decided he would make Jeff punctuate his sentences with guffaws and giggles, honk his clown nose to emphasize his words, and impulsively use comedically exaggerated hand gestures. This wouldn't be breaking their agreement not to alter Jeff's mind, just....tweaking it-a little.
Heeheeyaha," Jeff giggled. "I feel, heeheyaha," and now his voice was sounding a couple of pitches deeper and with a goofy lilt, "funny, heeheeyaha."
