Elsewhere, in a typical suburban home, a family of four soon found themselves teleported inside a glass tank. Despite being submerged in water, they found themselves able to breathe. Their arms withered inside their bodies and their legs morphed into tail fins. Their initial panic faded away as their intelligence gradually decreased.
Eventually, the family of four were incapable of having deep thoughts. They simply swam around aimlessly in the confines of their glass imprisonment, unaware of their purpose or surroundings. The memories they once had were gone forever. All they knew how to do was swim.
Days later, the front door of the house opened. In walked a family of four, all anthropomorphic fish, returning home from vacation. Upon entering their home, the two young fish quickly ran upstairs to their rooms while their mother and father settled in downstairs.
In the living room, the father fish walked by their human tank. He noticed something was odd when he didn't see the usual lively movements inside. His hunch was correct as he looked at the tank closely. At the top of the tank, the four tiny humans were floating, visibly lifeless.
"Honey, did you feed the humans before we left?" The male fish asked his wife.
"No, I thought you did." The feminine fish voice answered as she walked in the room. She immediately noticed the four deceased humans inside the tank. "Shoot. Quick, go to the pet store and buy some new humans. Hopefully the kids don't notice."
The male fish let out a sigh before he promptly grabbed his car keys and headed outside. Meanwhile, the mother fish grabbed a small mesh net and scooped up the four dead humans inside the tank, which she transferred to a smaller container. Once all four bodies were scooped out, she headed to the bathroom and dumped the container into the toilet. With a flush, the swirling water carried the four deceased humans away. Hopefully, her husband would be back in time with new humans.
