Adam gritted his teeth, smiling and nodding through the introduction, trying not to put any ideas in Diane's head, and asked to talk to Dr. Yorva privately. Once it was just the two of them, he started rambling about everything he'd been through. Sudden spontaenous changes, changes in his sleep, forgetting who he was, MELTING, and begged him for some way to switch this off.
Dr. Yorva nodded along, frowning a bit. "Well that is all... less promising than results seemed thus far. I don't actually have a way to undo the treatment, but perhaps we can establish a safety net? I'll get a camcorder out, you can just make a backup of sorts. Explain and show just who you are, and if you should experience another crisis of identity, we can use it to get you back to normal. Simple enough, right?"
Adam nodded, sat alone in a room with the camera, and did his best to explain who he was to some future version of himself that might forget. Then he remembered how he'd ransacked his fridge as a harpy and spent the next few hours shopping, all while repeating a mantra in his head of "you are Adam, you are Adam, you are Adam..." After restocking the fridge and throwing out everything he'd ruined, he stacks what he could against the broken window, and just sort of willed himself to turn in early.
