As Jeff is scrolling through all of the options, trying to decide what to try out first, he suddenly spots a hidden option labeled: “A.I. Upgrade”.
“Hu? An “A.I. Upgrade“? Now, what could that mean,” the teen asks himself, “does it mean that I can become an Android or… does it mean that I can upgrade the Chronivac to an A.I.?”
Jeff tilts his head and frowns, “but if it is an upgrade for the program,” he mumbles to himself, “why hide it?”
The teen’s curiosity awakens, and he decides to check out the option, when he opens the file a message greets him, the message reads:
“We are pleased that you seem to enjoy our creation, we assume you have tried a few options out, otherwise you wouldn’t be able to access this option,” the message starts.
Jeff raises an eyebrow, “I haven’t tried anything out first,” he mumbles, “maybe it is a bug? Maybe that would explain why I am able to access this option without trying out other options,” he then continues on reading.
The message continues, “according to the data we received from you, we see that you are a trustworthy person, who does not like to take any risks and always calcutlate possible consequences before either transforming yourself or someone or something else.”
‘If they only knew that that is not the case,’ Jeff thinks to himself, ‘it is true that I am a careful person, but how is the program able to know that? And how did they get my data? Unless, as I said, there is some sort of bug which transferred false information to the creators. Maybe I should let them know?’
Jeff thinks for a while, but then decides to continue to read the message before deciding.
“The upgrade will allow you to access more advanced options, such as: transforming someone or something from a distance, as long that person or object has a WiFi connection and device.”
Jeff can’t help but grin, “that would come in handy,” he says to himself.
“You are also able to copy the Chronivac to your phone or tablet and create a portable Chronivac.”
Jeff’s eyes widen, “damn… now THAT is something that WILL come in handy!”
“You can also decide how intelligent the A.I. upgrade should be, and even add unique abilities to the program, for example, causing the Chronivac to decide for itself if a transformation is necessary or not. Having said that, would you like to upgrade your Chronivac?”
Jeff leans back in his chair, thinking about what he had just read, and if he really should upgrade his Chronivac without testing it out first.
