Stephanie and Travis arrived at a milk bottle toss game. Travis looked a little unsure about the game at first and even looked at Stephanie.
"You know a lot of these games are rigged, right?" Travis asked. "Yeah, I know, but with your keen eye and toss, you should be able to hit it on the mark. It'll go great with the large stuffed zebra I have at home." Stephanie casually mentioned.
"You got a stuffed zebra from one of these games?" Travis asked as he paid the vendor for a ball. "Oh yeah, when my moms took me here the first year they adopted me, they got me to play one of these games and I totally hit the bottles over, but they didn't break apart." Stephanie explained.
"So what did you do?" Travis asked as he missed his first toss not to seem too perfect a hit. "I didn't do anything, but my mom, Jackie, grabbed the vendor by his collar and said that he was going to give me that stuffed zebra as a prize or she was going to hit him in the balls with the ball." Stephanie chuckled as did Travis. Travis slightly hit one of the bottles down now and intended to hit the rest on his next strike.
"Oh man, that was a really badass mom moment there." Travis said as Stephanie nodded in agreement and Travis tossed the ball now making all the bottles fall down. Stephanie jumped up and down clapping in excitement as she pointed to a stuffed bear that Travis asked for and handed it to Stephanie who kissed kissed him on the cheek as a thank you.
"So your first time here was probably amazing, right?" Travis asked. "Oh it was, until we had dinner and I guessed my food wasn't quite well done and I got sick the next day." Stephanie sighed. "Sorry to hear that."
"Don't be, I may have been sick, but I got to experience first hand, parents who actually took care of me when I was sick. Ann put a wet washcloth over my head to keep my head cool and put a puke bucket next to my bed if I didn't make it to the bathroom. Jackie, meanwhile got me some ginger ale and water for me to drink in case I couldn't stomach any other drink. She also sat down and watched bad reality shows with me to make me laugh." Stephanie chuckled as Travis laughed too.
"You know, I got a really good vibe from your mothers when I met them, they do really care about you a lot." Travis mentioned.
"You can tell how people feel?" Stephanie asked.
"Yeah, it's sort of a life gift. I can feel how people feel about one another. Your mothers care about you, definitely." Travis said as Stephanie nodded. "And they are very in love with each other, and I mean really in love." Travis said as Stephanie looked like she was about to gag.
"Okay, I know what you mean. I like it when my moms show they love each other, but I don't need to know that much." Stephanie said as she looked around for something else for Travis to win for her there.
