“I suggest we stick together,” Todd says.
“Why,” Zack, who, along with Jeff, is the “Lone Wolf” of the group, both he and Jeff tend to enjoy doing stuff solo, that is the only thing they have in common, “going solo is way more fun and exciting!”
“I agree,” Jeff says.
Todd, Mike and Dean roll their eyes, “typical for you two “Lone Wolves” to argue,” Todd says, “the reason why I think it’ll be best to stick together is that this place is so huge that it is easy to get lost, and besides that: if anything should happen, like a injury, at least the others would be around to help the wounded.”
Zack and Jeff look at each other, then they both sigh, “I guess you make a good point,” Jeff says.
Todd smiles, “good,” he says, “let’s start exploring the rooms leading from the lobby.”
The group starts to explore the rooms, which are still furnished, just like the rest of the mansion, finding nothing interesting they soon decide to head to the upper floor.
After only an hour, Jeff starts to get bored, ‘man, I wish I could sneak off,’ he thinks to himself, ‘I really want to finally try the App out!’
As the group walks down the hallway, Jeff looks out one of the windows, he notices that there is a huge garden, which is heavily overgrown, but still, Jeff feels the urge to want to explore the garden, maybe he’ll find something to test the App on?
Jeff looks back at the group, which is continuing to walk down the hallway, Dean, Todd and Mike are talking to each other, and Jeff realizes that Zack has disappeared, ‘looks like Zack sneaked off himself,’ he thinks to himself, ‘the others don’t seem to notice and are more focused on each other, this would be my chance to “vanish” myself. What bad things are supposed to happen anyway?’
The 16 year-old quietly turns around and heads back to the staircase, he heads down stairs and searches for a way to get into the garden.
Jeff heads in the direction in which the garden is located, but every window and door he finds, which lead into the garden, are boarded up. The teen is about to give up when he suddenly spots a widow which seems to have been forgotten to be boarded up, the boy grins to himself and heads over.
The window is shut and the glass is intact, Jeff tries the handles, which keep the window shut and locked, surprisingly the window is easy to open and Jeff climbs through it, finding himself standing on a narrow tiled path, which he starts to walk down, after closing the window behind him.
By now, it is starting to get dark, so Jeff as to use the flashlight on his phone, when he turns a corner he lets out a yell of fright when suddenly a huge figure stands directly in front of him. Jeff stumbles back in fear, but as he moves his flashlight, the boy relaxes a little when he realizes that it is just a creepy statue of what looks like a winged demon perched on a big stone base, both the base and statue seem to be made of black stone.
“Holy shit,” Jeff says, “that thing looks so creepy, it looks as if it is ready to pounce,” the figure is crouched down, its large demonic wings spread out, it has the figure of a man who regularly visits the gym, the muscles of the creature are massive, but not to extreme. Its face is contorted in a threatening snarl and his ears are big and pointy, he also has huge, sharp and dangerous looking claws on his hands and feet, all in all, the creature looks like the typical demon. The creature also seems to be wearing either a torn pants or a Loincloth around his waist.
After the shock has faded, Jeff remembers the App on his phone, a grin forms on his face, “this statue is the perfect test subject,” he says to himself, “I could transform it into a less threatening statue, maybe a kid, I could also transform it into an animal… hm… or I could bring it to life… at least partially. So many possibilities!”
