The first of the Evans family to arrive at the family meeting in the living room were Ricky and Alissa. After he informed Andy of the meeting, Ricky headed back to Alissa’s room, where the two headed to the living room.
“I guess we’re the first ones here,” said Ricky as he sat on the couch with his knees far apart. His boyish mannerisms never left him.
"Ricky, keep your legs together when you sit down; it’s very unladylike to have your legs spread like that.” Alissa herself then sat down before wincing when she crushed her balls with her thighs, as she had instinctively squished them together when she sat down. “You might want to sit with your legs spread a little when sitting; you don’t want to mess up the Crown Jewels,” Ricky teased. "Noted," she groaned as she spread her legs out.
The door of the living room opened, and in walked a frustrated Rachel. The two of them looked at her and were confused about what was different about her. “Damn Rachel, did you get turned into a boy too?” asked Alissa, who confused her sister’s new tomboyish body with that of a boy. “You’re definitely younger,” Ricky added.
Rachel sighed as she sat down on the couch in the corner of the living room. “Unlike you two, I didn’t get my gender swapped, but mom turned me into a 15-year-old tomboy.” Her mood didn’t improve. She crossed her arms and sulked as the two stared at her. “So I have something on my face?” She growled.
“Not that I can see." The three of them looked up to see Max was now here; he had clearly raided Andy’s wardrobe while he was in the shower. Max seemed to be the only one happy with his change so far, and the other three were shocked to see an 18-year-old version of their brother.
“Max… I can’t believe it’s you." Alissa was amazed. Max effortlessly picked her up, and she laughed in his arms. "Believe it, sis, or should I say, bro?” he said before letting her down.
The twins made eye contact; any outsider looking in would never believe that the 10-year-old girl and the 18-year-old boy used to be twins. “I guess we won’t have to worry about people mistaking who we are, huh, Ricky,” Max teased. Ricky rolled his eyes. “Shut up,” he muttered as Max took a seat next to Rachel.
The next in was Kyle, and as the once youngest member of the Evans family stepped in, he was met with jealous eyes by the bubbly Alissa. “What the heck? How come you get to be a boy again and you’re older?” she said with her hands on her hips.
There was a moment of awkward eye contact between Kyle and Ricky that Max picked up on. “It’s a long story,” he blurted out before sitting down. Rachel looked up in annoyance. She was the second oldest in the family, and now she was only a grade apart from the baby of the family.
The last person to walk in was Andy; there was gasp from Alissa and Max when the Jock turned curvy cutie walked in; Ricky was thankfully he wasn’t the only boy turned girl in the family; Rachel was jealous of her brother's new femininity; Kyle felt himself pop a boner when he saw his brother, as he was still unable to control his adolescent hormones; he felt grossed out, so he avoided looking at him.
Andy scowled. “Anyone say anything, and I’m going."
“Gonna what!” Andy heard his mom’s voice, and he turned around to see his parents standing behind him. Geoffrey had a tight grip on the device, and Andy was feeling a little nervous. "Erm, nothing.” He quickly hurried to the couch and sat down.
"Great, now that is cleared up!” Said Lauren, “We’re here to tell everyone that, as a part of your punishment, we’ve decided to keep you in your new bodies for at least a week.” There was an uproar from the Evans kids, except from Max and Kyle. Geoffrey lifted up the device, and the room fell silent.
“Of course, if any of you break any of our rules, then said person gets an extra day in their new body as well as a new change from the device,” explained Geoffrey. "Oh, and everyone outside of this house has awareness of. So Andy, everyone knows you as Annie, a fun-loving college party girl; Rachel, everyone knows you as a tomboy sophomore in high school; Max, you’re an 18-year-old bright college freshman; as for you, Ricky, you’re now a 10-year-old girl, a 4th grade girl called Nicki; Alissa, you're a boy known as Alan, who's on the football team; Kyle, you're in the 8th grade, and you’ve taken over Ricky’s role as the soccer team captain."
Everyone dwelled on their new lives and how they were different from their regular lives. "Okay, everyone, the family meeting is over,” said Lauren.
