Thomas was sitting up in his chair, the water had seemed to help but he didn't say anything for the rest of the trip. John continued to drive as fast as he could across the highway.
"I'll get off at the next exit, but we can't afford to stay long."
Just then the both of the car's right side tires went flat and John lost control as they careened off the highway. Being an expert driver, John prevented the car from flipping and thus saved their lives.
They got out of the car and looked around they would have to walk towards the next exit. After 10 minutes they ran into the strange man from earlier.
Damn self-preservation, one look at the sword on his back and Thomas became scared. He began to breath deeply and sounded more animalistic with each breath. His eyes still yellow from the first transformation seem to glow as his body shifts, muscles becoming bigger. His ears become pointed and move to the top of his head where they triangulate as claws come out from his fingers. His tail explodes out of him as his face pulls out into a muzzle and fur completely covered his body. His changes finished as he shifted to a digitigrade stance and he growled, long fangs showing through his lips.
"Calm down. I'm not here to hurt you." The strange man said.
"I know what you're feeling right now but you can't let your instincts dictate your actions. I've seen others just like you several times in my life and I know how you're feeling. I'm like you, only I was born with it. I know you probably don't believe me but you're just going to have to trust me."
The wolf attacked him and he easily flipped him over his shoulder.
"Don't make me do this, I would hate to see your family when they find out you're dead. Reclaim your control for their sake."
The black wolf calmed down at these words. He stepped back and turned to Marcia.
"It's okay. I think I have it under control now."
The strang man walked towards Marcia.
"I need to talk to you about the stone that did this to him. We need to get away from this city for now the force within it has become too strong to stay safe here.
