As it happened, Sassy and Anya had been caught completely off guard by Theia. Thus, they were completely under her spell, unable to break free even if they had a desire to, which they did not. So, in complete contentment, they followed the Horse Witch to the riding school stables and allowed her to set them up in stalls.
"Now, my lovelies, let's have a proper look at you," Theia said, keeping her tone soothing. While it was unnecessary due to her spell, speaking softly to horses was a valuable habit for anyone dealing with horses. Probing with her hands along the Arabian's side, she checked her vitals, finding her in excellent health. There was also an added surprise. "Oh my, so you had a passenger, after all. What a lucky girl, you are!"
Sending the magic deeper, she hummed delightedly. "Hm, the little one is coming along nicely, and what a fine pedigree! You must have been bred by a fine stable, perhaps even Royal. You've come a long way from the capital, haven't you, dear girl. Well, don't you fuss. You'll have the finest of care until you deliver."
Straightening up with satisfaction, Theia turned to the main attraction. Almost reverently, she bent down next to the Witch's Pony and stroked her neck and sides, relishing the silky sensations before finally casting her probe.
For a moment, her breath caught. The pregnant Arabian had been a surprise already. But this...
Running her fingers through the Witch's Pony's mane, she cooed, "You're truly a king's ransom, dear girl. A pregnant Witch's Pony is far too valuable for a place like this. Someone must be searching for you. I must report this to Lord Copperstone." The Witch's Pony simply flicked an ear, unconcerned. "Then again, maybe the schoolmaster should know first, since this would definitely affect the school. Hm, what to do."
