Samantha hated Christmas, it was too bright and jolly for her liking. It clashed with her personality as a classic goth girl. For the rest of her family it seamed like an ideal match, everyone else in her family where the happy go lucky jolly type who wanted to keep pushing the perfect family to everyone. Her parents where super religious and hated that their oldest daughter wasn’t either the cheerleader type or at least class president type.
No, all through high school they got to see their daughter leave the house, dressed in black or dark clothes. Her blonde hair-colored multiple shades, the darker the better but Neon colors where a favorite of hers.
Once in college she had begun to buy the leather corsets she knows wore on an almost daily bases even if it caused her mother to have a near heart attack the first time she saw her.
No, Samantha was clearly not a Christmas Girl, a Halloween girl for sure.
Still she had to come home from college this time of year because the dorms were closed. So she lay in bed listening to music and imagining how life would have been so much better if she wasn’t the black sheep of the family.
It was late on Christmas eve when the rest of the house was fast asleep awaiting Christmas morning when Samantha had to go to the restroom before finally getting some sleep.
She opened her door to find a strange gift outside her door.
Rolling her eyes she picked it up and opened it to find a rather beautiful glass orb of swirling colors. She read the note and had to fight back a laugh.
This had to be a joke or maybe even a trap.
Her parents didn’t know she had messed around with witchcraft and the occult stuff.

If they did there was no way, her religious family would have gotten her something like this.
However somewhere in the back of her mind a story she heard from a friend about orbs like this, orbs that could transform someone into almost anything came to her mind. Her friend said it was real…what if it was.
Could this really be a transformation orb, could she really change herself into almost anything?
Her friend said once used there was no changing back.
“Alright.” Said Samantha as she placed the orb to her chest, part her not believing it would work but wanted to try it anyhow. “All I want for Christmas is to transform into…”
